Are your psychiatric services covered by my insurance plan? We are not members of any HMO/ PPO insurance plan. Many insurance policies provide out of network benefits that reimburse our services to varying degrees. The patient is free to file for these benefits if desired. What are your rates? Dr. Anders' rate structure is $400 for an hour evaluation, $275 for 45-minute sessions and $225 for 30-minute sessions. Dr. Lynch's rate structure is $400 for a 90 minute evaluation ($450 on Saturdays) and $275 for 45-minute sessions ($300 on Saturdays). How soon can I make an initial appointment? We are dedicated to offering an appointment time as soon as possible, often within a day or two of your call. What are your hours? We have office hours everyday including Saturdays. Early morning and late evening appointments are available as well. Where are you located? Our offices are located in downtown Chicago at 25 E Washington, Suite 1700. See Map for directions. What is a Concierge Psychiatry Practice? There are several types of concierge psychiatric practices, however, all of them include direct payment by the patient to the physician for the psychiatry services provided. There are many benefits of this arrangement. One is that the physician may spend more time with his/ her patients. Another is that treatment decisions are made once again by the physician and patient, not by insurance companies or managed care organizations. Also, the physician is free to focus his/ her energy on direct patient care, the most rewarding part of the profession. What are your exclusive psychiatric services? We only schedule one patient per appointment time. We will schedule as much time as needed for any particular patient. This structure allows us to start and finish appointments as scheduled. What is your availability? We return phone calls the same day as received, and are personally available for emergencies 24 hours a day. We strive to have flexible office hours to facilitate your ongoing treatment and to provide availability for urgent sessions as neeed. Privacy & Confidentiality: We offer a private waiting area and separate exit doors out of our consultation rooms. Soundproofing provides a quiet and private setting. No information from your treatment will be discussed with any third party unless we both decide it is useful. Responsiveness: We provide additional psychiatry services such as emergency and weekend calls to pharmacies, timely report writing and prompt coordination of care. Why do you charge for missed sessions? Since we only schedule one person per appointment time, that time slot is effectively sold once an appointment is made. Not paying for the reserved time results in a loss to our value–largely due of the limited amount of time in a day. The investment in keeping appointments is not only financial, but also directly translates into achieving goals for our clients. What can I expect during my first appointment? We are interested in getting to know each patient individually so that we can understand their concerns and how these problems are currently affecting their lives. Once this process is accomplished, we will design a treatment plan and engage in addressing the problem. How long does treatment take? The length of treatment is highly variable. It depends upon the nature of the presenting issues and the patient's goals for treatment.
